What is OT ?

Occupational therapy (OT) is a holistic healthcare profession that helps people of all ages participate in the meaningful activities, or occupations, that make up everyday life. From infancy through older adulthood, occupational therapists use evidence-based, individualized approaches to support physical, cognitive, sensory, emotional, and social development, empowering individuals to live with greater independence, confidence, and quality of life.

In pediatric occupational therapy, these meaningful occupations include play, learning, activities of daily living (ADLs) such as feeding, dressing, grooming, sleeping, as well as emotional regulation and social participation to promote function. Through individualized, play-based intervention, occupational therapists help children develop the foundational skills needed to successfully participate at home, school, and in their communities while partnering with families to promote progress beyond each therapy session.

At Inspire Therapy Collaborative, we offer concierge-style occupational therapy. We specialize in early intervention and a holistic approach to overall development, recognizing that the first years of life provide a critical opportunity to build strong developmental foundations. Our family-centered approach emphasizes collaboration with caregivers and other members of a child's care team to create personalized strategies that naturally fit into daily routines. By combining compassionate care with evidence-based practice, we help children build confidence, develop independence, and reach meaningful developmental milestones that support lifelong participation in the activities that matter most.

Outside of the clinic, Ms. Jhenny enjoys spending time with family and friends while engaging in occupations that inspire creativity and well-being. Her favorite leisure activities include cooking, crafting, hiking, camping, exploring the outdoors, and playing recreational sports such as volleyball, tennis, and badminton.
